Our Favourite Parts of our Trip to the Botanic Gardens

On Wednesday 28 March I went to the Botanic Gardens. My favourite but was when we went to the Children’s Garden. My favourite part in the Children’s Gardens was going in the water forest because I got wet. I also liked running on the fresh grass because running is good.

My favourite bit was in the morning when we got to the Children’s Garden. First we found a seed pod with Miss O’Brien but the seed pod had to pop. I also saw a bog. My favourite part was when I went to the mist. I was surprised when the mist sprayed into my eyes. The swan plant was so, so gigantic. We used to have one in our classroom. After that we had lunch.

On Wednesday 28 March room 12, 13, 11 and 16 went to the Botanic Gardens for our trip. My favourite place was the Children’s Garden because there was the bog. After we found a huge rock and did a worksheet, that was my favourite part too. I saw a tree with a koru in the middle. I liked looking everywhere the most, especially the cactus, it was spiky! In the herb garden, I liked eating the chives and the lime plant leaves smelt yummy.

On Wednesday 28 March rooms 12, 13, 11 and 16 went to the Botanic Gardens in Manurewa. I thought it would take forever on the bus but we were finally there. My favourite part was when my group saw a statue. The statue looked like a ninja lady because she was standing on one leg.
